Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Design-Build Project Engineer to join our Design-Build Transportation Practice in Raleigh, NC. You will work alongside Design Managers, Project Managers, and technical leaders to deliver transportation infrastructure projects through design-build and other delivery methods.

This role offers hands-on experience throughout the full project lifecycle, from pursuits through final design and construction support, with opportunities to develop leadership skills in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• 2–5 years of experience delivering transportation infrastructure projects.
• EIT certification required or in progress.
• Experience with Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, CM/GC, or similar delivery methods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of transportation projects using Design-Build and other delivery methods.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on roadway, bridge, transit, aviation, and other projects.
• Assist with project planning, coordination, and engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Support development of plans, specifications, reports, and contract documents.
• Assist with schedule tracking and design milestones; participate in design reviews and constructability reviews.
• Provide construction-phase support including RFI responses and submittal reviews.
