Job summary

The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services is seeking a motivated Community Resource Consultant to deliver technical programmatic assistance and coaching to Support Coordinators and DD Medicaid Waiver providers statewide. The role focuses on building system capacity and supporting three waivers as changes occur.

Responsibilities include training, materials development, and representing DBHDS in the assigned area, with telework availability per Commonwealth policy.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of developmental disabilities and community-based services.
• Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
• Experience in program development, evaluation, and cross-organizational coordination.
• Ability to build relationships with providers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Understanding of CMS, DMAS and related regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and training to Support Coordinators and DD Waiver providers.
• Develop guidance materials to improve service quality and access.
• Represent DBHDS perspectives in assigned regions.
• Lead focus groups to inform employment, day, and residential options.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing services.
