Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Social Work seeks a Data Manager to support the Creating Indicators and Improving Outcomes project. You will manage data from multiple systems, develop longitudinal datasets, and help prepare reports for state and local stakeholders.

You will also maintain a public-facing site with KPIs, assist in surveys and data collection, and contribute to evaluation initiatives across human services programs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing large datasets and programming using a variety of software.
  • Ability to communicate (written and spoken) technical material to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and analyze data from multiple human services information systems to support research and program evaluation.
  • Create longitudinal datasets to track outcomes for children and families in human services programs.
  • Maintain a public-facing website with key performance indicators and outcome measures, ensuring data quality.
  • Contribute to broader program evaluation initiatives and support grant/funding efforts.
