Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Social Work is seeking a Data Manager to support the Creating Indicators and Improving Outcomes project. This role involves data management, programming, and analysis to track outcomes for children and families across human services programs.

The Data Manager will work under the leadership of a Research Associate Professor and will contribute to program evaluation, surveys, and data-driven reporting for state and local stakeholders,

Qualifications

• Experience managing data from human services information systems.
• Ability to clean, merge, and maintain longitudinal datasets.
• Strong understanding of data quality, integrity, and governance.
• Experience communicating findings to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Extract, maintain, and integrate data from multiple sources for research and evaluation.
• Develop and analyze longitudinal datasets tracking outcomes for children and families.
• Maintain and update a public-facing site with key performance indicators.
• Contribute to survey design and data collection instruments.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and grant-related documentation.
