Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking a curious and analytical Customer Insights Intern to join the Customer Insights team. This role supports the team in designing, analyzing, and communicating customer research that informs business decisions across Loyalty, Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations.

Example projects may include conducting customer research on the loyalty program, evaluating customer perceptions of loyalty program features, and supporting concept testing for a major category to understand

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Strategy, Market Research, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to solve problems independently and collaboratively using a structured approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; experience with Copilot or similar AI tools preferred.
• Knowledge of survey and Customer research platforms such as Qualtrics, Alida, Medallia, Mintel, or NielsenIQ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, execution, analysis, and communication of customer research projects.
• Conduct research on the loyalty program and evaluate customer perceptions of loyalty program features.
• Support concept testing and other studies to understand customer preferences, motivations, behaviors, and purchase drivers.
• Translate research findings into actionable recommendations for business leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Customer Insights researchers, research vendors, and business partners across Loyalty, Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations.
