Job summary

Summit is seeking a motivated food service director to join our Corrections segment in Carroll County. You will lead a team of food service workers, oversee all aspects of the department, and ensure every meal is delivered safely and on time.

The role requires at least two years of coordinating food service operations, industrial cooking experience, strong communication with hourly staff and executives, and a commitment to safety, sanitation, and client service.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with client/customer focus.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead a team of associates, including hiring and training.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget the department and manage purchasing and forecasting.
• Coordinate with district management on dining service operations.
