Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Food Service Director for the Summit corrections dining program in Ann Arbor, MI. Lead a team to provide reliable meals, ensure quality, safety, and compliance, and manage budgeting and purchasing for the department.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Previous experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and company executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with strong client/customer service focus.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead and train a team of associates, including hiring.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget for the department and manage purchasing and forecasts.
• Coordinate with district manager on dining service operations.
• Address customer service needs.
