Job summary

SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union is seeking a Business Unit Compliance Specialist II, Consumer Loans to support the First Line of Defense Compliance Management Program within the consumer lending unit. The role involves ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements through testing, reviews, and procedure updates.

You will analyze regulatory changes, propose actionable improvements, and help implement training, disclosures, and forms while coordinating with management and external audits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience required
• 3-5 years of prior relevant experience required
• America’s Credit Unions Certified Credit Union Compliance Officer (CUCO) or NAFCU’s Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO) designation(s) preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists with maintaining the Credit Union’s First Line of Defense Compliance Management Program.
• Monitors regulatory changes impacting the consumer lending unit and recommends compliance actions.
• Reviews forms, disclosures, communications, advertisements, risk assessments, and SOPs for regulatory impact.
• Contributes to training, procedural updates, and form revisions to ensure compliance.
• Coordinates documentation and responses for regulatory examinations and audits.
