Job summary

A Caring Alternative, LLC (ACA) is hiring for a Community Support Team (CST) role in Asheville, NC. This full-time position supports adults, adolescents, and children with mental health and substance use disorder needs within a comprehensive care team.

The CST team provides direct services, case management, and community-based interventions designed to restore functioning and independence in daily life while coordinating with a larger treatment network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work or closely related Human Services area.
• For AP – must have 1 year of professional work experience with population served
• For QP – must have 2 years of professional work experience with population served.
• Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• High level proficiency in Microsoft Office - MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate use of appropriate knowledge, skills, abilities, and judgement and provide therapeutic services that evidence quality and meet the needs of persons served.
• Show knowledge and use of clinical process to achieve positive outcomes include evaluation, assessment, service, treatment planning, intervention techniques, aftercare, and transition planning.
• Participate in community based team approach that utilizes resources of the community, consumer, and treatment team to achieve positive outcomes.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage an assigned caseload and meet direct care billable productivity expectations of the organization.
• Maintain accurate service and billing record documentation that clearly communicates the services provided and consumer progress
