Job summary

Fairstead, a mission-driven real estate firm, is seeking a Community Manager for one of our properties. You will oversee day-to-day operations, leasing compliance, and overall property performance, ensuring regulatory adherence and resident satisfaction.

The role requires 3+ years of property management leadership, COS/CPO certification, EIV and Yardi/RealPage experience; Bachelor's preferred. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary of $56,000–$58,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience including supervising a team
• COS or CPO certification required or preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure leasing compliance with HUD, Fair Housing, ADA and FCRA
• Maintain HUD 4350.3 Handbook knowledge and compliance
• Coordinate with Compliance Department on regulatory responses
• Oversee maintenance, inspections, and vendor bids
• Manage rent collection, delinquencies, and evictions as needed
• Prepare and review site reports and budgets
• Conduct unit inspections and bi-annual walk-throughs with Superintendent
• Attend monthly financial catch-up meetings and monitor budgets
