Job summary

Atlas Healthcare, LLC seeks compassionate CNAs to join a skilled nursing facility team. You will provide direct patient care under licensed staff supervision and assist residents with daily living activities to promote comfort and wellness.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, monitoring health, taking vital signs, and maintaining documentation while ensuring a safe, respectful environment in compliance with HIPAA and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the appropriate state.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or required depending on facility policy.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health, behavior, or condition to nursing staff.
• Take and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and ambulating residents using proper body mechanics and transfer equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures in compliance with facility policies.
• Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to resident care plans.
• Support residents' rights and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and facility guidelines.
