Work includes drug information support, education, and clinical initiatives across Mercy facilities. Responsibilities include reviewing orders, developing medication plans, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must hold a license in the applicable state.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited school.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records to ensure appropriate medication therapy.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to provide safe medication therapy.
• Utilize pharmacy information systems for order verification and documentation.
• Precept and mentor students and residents as needed.
