Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of a busy internal medicine clinic in Littleton, Colorado. The role requires strong healthcare leadership, governance of budgets, and coordination with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

The candidate should have 3+ years of management experience in medical settings, familiarity with EHR systems, and knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years management experience in physician's office, clinic or hospital.
• Experience with EHR systems and HIPAA compliance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and related regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the internal medicine clinic.
• Monitor site budget, regulatory compliance, contracts and vendor relations.
• Develop goals and objectives aligning with clinic and organizational strategy.
• Provide leadership to and accountability for managers and senior staff.
• Coordinate staff scheduling, recruitment and payroll processes.
• Assess and improve patient care quality and care coordination.
