Job summary

The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs in Oregon is seeking a Full-time Child Welfare Caseworker to provide specialized casework for children under 18 who have been neglected, abused, or exploited. Strong written and oral communication, problem-solving, case management, investigations, and referrals are essential.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Human Services or three years of relevant experience; background checks; valid Oregon driver's license; strict confidentiality; and

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Associates Degree in Human Services or three years of consecutive child welfare experience.
• Must pass criminal background check with Tribal, State and Federal Law Enforcement and be fingerprinted.
• Must have a valid Oregon driver's license and be insurable under CTWS.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized casework to neglected, abused, or exploited children under 18 years of age.
• Must be able to problem solve, plan, case management, investigations, treatment referrals and follow up.
• Must maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
