Qualifications

• Experience screening and assessing clients’ needs to determine appropriate community resources and culturally responsive services.
• Experience preparing and maintaining records such as reports, narratives, and observations.
• Understanding and working with diverse populations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including plain language for diverse audiences.
• Ability to organize tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and database software programs.

Responsibilities

• Support families by helping them achieve goals while ensuring child safety.
• Provide case management with diverse families and collaboration with tribal entities and partners.
• Engage with children, families, resource parents, and caregivers using trauma-informed and antiracist approaches.
• Develop and implement strategies leveraging family strengths and addressing areas needing improvement.
• Handle documentation and legal duties, including home visits, legal documents, and court attendance.
• Balance needs of the child and family while adhering to legal requirements.
• Build rapport and meaningful relationships with families to support their needs.
