Dodge County is seeking a detail-oriented professional for the Child Support unit. You will review applications, draft legal documents, and manage case files to ensure accurate enforcement of support orders.

Responsibilities include communicating with clients, attending hearings, and coordinating with state systems like KIDS. A background in human services or related field is required; Bachelors degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher in Human Services or related field.
• Experience or ability to work with legal documents and processes.
• Must pass IRS and criminal background checks.
• Experience in civil legal process or public service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and process child support or medical support orders and enforcement.
• Draft legal documents such as motions, judgments, and income withholding orders.
• Document interactions and case activity in KIDS and related systems.
• Interpret financial information to determine child support obligations.
• Attend court hearings, take notes, and testify when required.
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, employers and others regarding case matters.
• Maintain and organize case files and ensure compliance with state procedures.
• Provide backup support to department personnel as needed.
