The role requires court coordination and occasional testimony, with strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance. The position is full-time, with standard hours Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, and a wage range of $26.32/hr–$28.97/hr.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting income tax forms, health insurance policies, and legal forms.
• Experience in civil legal processes and direct work with the public is preferred.
• Must pass IRS and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, researches and assesses applications for child and medical support orders.
• Drafts and processes legal documents such as motions, judgments and income withholding orders.
• Documents contacts and actions for each case in the KIDS system.
• Interprets financial information to determine support obligations per statutes.
• Attends court hearings, takes notes, and testifies when summoned.
• Negotiates settlements and prepares court-related documents.
