The Islamic Association of Raleigh (IAR) seeks a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead the daily operations and strategic direction of a long‑standing community mosque and nonprofit in Raleigh, NC. Qualifications

• Five+ years in a leadership or managerial role in a nonprofit or private organization.
• Strong ability to work with diverse stakeholders in Muslim and non-Muslim communities.
• Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities.
• Solid grounding in general principles of Islam.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Administration Team and IAR committees.
• Provide guidance to build capacity and increase program impact.
• Develop short- and long-term activities for successful operations.
• Communicate the organization vision to stakeholders.
• Develop and monitor a strategic plan with budget considerations.
• Identify resources and balance stakeholder needs.
• Manage administrative staff and volunteers.
• Provide monthly operational and fiscal reports to the Shura.
• Represent IAR in external affairs and media relations.
• Update Shura on strategic plan progression and refinements.
