Job summary

Jewish Renaissance Foundation is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who will report to the Board of Trustees and guide the agency’s direction, culture, and long-term success. The CEO will supervise senior operations, work with the Board, grantors, and community stakeholders, and act as the primary driver of the agency’s mission and growth.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, financial stewardship, and experience with nonprofit governance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (M.A.) or Bachelor’s with five to ten years’ related experience.
• Management experience in non-profit, healthcare, and/or local government; FQHC and health related experience preferred.
• Experience and skill in working with a Board of Trustees.
• Strong understanding of integral business and administrative functions, inclusive of finance, human resources, compliance and grant management.
• Effective leadership and organizational skills in relation to strategic planning, delegating, and business development.
• Innovative with strong financial management skills and experience in generating new revenue streams and managing complex budgets.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies governing a FQHC and a CAA; monitors operations, programs, and facilities.
• Establishes current and long-term goals, objectives, plans and policies, subject to Board approval.
• Maintains strong image of the organization in the community.
• Oversees financial health and stability, supporting the CFO and senior leadership.
• Leads fundraising planning and implementation, including identifying funding sources and proposals.
• Directs daily operation of the JRF through Directors and program leads.

Education
