Job summary

ECS4Kids is seeking a Center Manager to oversee daily operations of the center and lead a team of educators. The role ensures compliance with Head Start/Early Head Start standards, maintains high-quality learning environments, and collaborates with families to support children's growth and development.

The Center Manager will manage curriculum implementation, staff scheduling, and budget, while coordinating health, safety, and administrative tasks to keep the center compliant and thriving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field is preferred.
• Director’s Credential and VPK endorsement are required or strongly preferred.
• Experience managing a childcare/program center is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall operation of the center and supervise staff.
• Ensure compliance with Head Start/EA Head Start and other standards.
• Promote a developmentally appropriate, culturally sensitive program.
• Develop and manage the center budget and resources.
• Coordinate family engagement and in-kind contributions.
• Maintain records, reports and attendance in a timely manner.
