Job summary

ECS4Kids is seeking an Assistant Center Manager to support the Center Manager in daily operations, ensuring a high-quality learning environment and adherence to DCF, APPLE and Head Start standards.

You will coordinate staff, assist with curriculum support, data entry, records, and monthly communications, while maintaining a welcoming, organized center that meets regulatory requirements and promotes child development.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred with 1-3 years related administrative experience.
• Director’s Credential; VPK endorsed preferred or obtain within 1st year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Manager with day-to-day operations of the center.
• Promote a culturally sensitive educational program developmentally appropriate for each child.
• Ensure classrooms meet high-quality learning environment standards.
• Support teachers in curriculum implementation and data analysis.
• Maintain staff files and records in compliance with DCF regulations.
• Coordinate and maintain USDA food program records and inventory.
• Prepare monthly center newsletters with Center Manager and Family Advocate.
