Job summary

ECS4Kids seeks an Assistant Center Manager to support the Center Manager and run daily operations in a compliant, child-centered environment. You will help ensure high-quality classrooms, manage staff records, and coordinate program activities in Florida.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree (1–3 years admin experience) or a Director’s Credential; VPK endorsement preferred. The role emphasizes organization, communication, and teamwork within a dynamic early-childhood program.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred with 1–3 years related administrative experience.
• Director’s Credential; VPK endorsed preferred or obtain within 1st year of employment.
• Strong organizational and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Center Manager with day-to-day operations of the center.
• Promote a culturally sensitive educational program for each child’s age and language.
• Ensure classrooms meet high-quality standards for learning environments.
• Support teachers in curriculum implementation and data collection.
• Maintain staff files and coordinate records for compliance (DCF/Head Start).
• Manage scheduling to meet center staffing needs and training hours.
