Job summary

ECS4Kids seeks a qualified Manager of Center Operations to lead Head Start and Early Head Start centers. You will plan daily operations, oversee staff recruitment and training, and ensure compliance with Head Start standards and CCP contracts.

Collaboration with the Director of Educational Operations and CCS partners is essential. You will drive program quality, manage budgets, develop training plans, and report on program performance to funders, while fostering a supportive, mission-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years related center operations experience in Head Start or Directly Operated centers.
• Director’s Credential.
• Knowledge of Head Start/Early Head Start, DCF, NAEYC, CDA, VPK, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Select, recruit, supervise and train assigned Center Managers.
• Monitor contract compliance with CCPs and Head Start standards.
• Coordinate recruitment for center staff and develop professional development plans.
• Develop relationships with CCPs and oversee program planning.
• Ensure program quality and adherence to regulations through assessments.
• Prepare timely reports for funding sources and collaborate with operations teams.
• Support staff, manage budgets, and promote a collaborative, growth-focused environment.
