Job summary

Open Arms Housing, Inc. in Washington, DC, seeks a full-time Case Manager for its Scattered-Site Permanent Supportive Housing Program. You will coordinate services, advocate for residents, and collaborate with housing and health partners to promote housing stability for women experiencing chronic homelessness.

The role requires a MA in Social Work or related field, 2 years of direct case management, and strong communication and crisis-response skills; travel to scattered sites may be required.

Qualifications

• MA degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related fields.
• Two years of direct case management experience.
• Experience with chronically homeless adults or mental illness is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support clients moving into stable long-term housing.
• Advocate for and assist residents in obtaining services (health, mental health, housing).
• Assist residents with upkeep of apartments and regular meetings.
• Address crises, assess safety, and help access emergency services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with property management.
• Collaborate with ACT teams and other treatment teams.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and maintain case notes.
