Job summary

Norris Academy, a residential treatment facility just outside Knoxville, is hiring a Case Management / Student Services Administrative Assistant in Andersonville, TN. The role supports intake/admissions and maintains student files, while ensuring safety and welfare of youth in care.

The position requires at least 2 years in behavioral health and experience with youth on the autism spectrum; a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Drivers license is also needed.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in behavioral health.
• At least 2 years of experience working with youth with autism.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with intake and admissions for new students.
• Collect, collate and maintain admissions documentation and student files.
• Track Type I and Type II incident reports.
• Maintain the student roster and movement logbook.
• Coordinate monthly case file audits.
• Disseminate meeting agendas/minutes and follow-up items.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
• Ensure safety and welfare of students and staff.
• Remain adaptable to schedule changes including evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
