Job summary

Lifetime Assistance in Rochester, NY is seeking a Career Pathways Program Coordinator. This full-time, on-site role reports to the Career Pathways Manager and supports apprenticeship programs, onboarding, scheduling, and participant tracking.

The position offers education support, paid training, and growth opportunities within a mission-driven team focused on independence and community impact. Starting wage is $26.44–$31.25 per hour, with full-time benefits and a grant-funded term.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, human services, workforce development, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of program or project coordination, workforce development, or learning & development.
• Experience with diverse populations.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, presentation, and relationship-building.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic database/ tracking systems.
• Ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and report program data.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Apprenticeship and Mentor Programs: recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, participant tracking.
• Maintain Career Pathways resources for clear advancement opportunities.
• Plan and facilitate program orientations, informational sessions, and skill-building workshops.
• Serve as primary contact for apprentices, mentors, supervisors, and external partners.
• Build collaborative relationships with internal departments and external organizations.
• Promote programs through internal communications and events to boost participation.
• Ensure compliance with apprenticeship requirements, funding guidelines, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate program and grant records.
• Monitor metrics: participation, completion, feedback, and outcomes; report findings.
• Suggest improvements and guide future initiatives using program data.
• Support additional Learning & Development initiatives and promote inclusive culture.
