Job summary

Urban League of Rochester NY Inc is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the Urban Construction Jobs Program. You will coordinate day-to-day operations, engage participants, track data, and ensure grant compliance while serving as the main contact for participants and partners.

The role requires strong organizational, communication, and data management skills with a focus on timely reporting, stipend processing, and coordination with instructors and community partners.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience in workforce development, education, or nonprofit preferred.
• Familiar with grant-funded programs and data tracking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily program operations with staff, partners, and leadership.
• Be primary contact for participants; address requirements, schedules, attendance, stipends.
• Handle intake: screening, eligibility, orientation, ongoing engagement.
• Assist with interview scheduling, screening, and participation.
• Track attendance, hours, stipends, and milestones.
• Follow up with participants not attending or meeting goals.
• Document supportive services (transportation, childcare) per guidelines.
• Maintain communication with training providers and partners.
• Maintain grant‑compliant participant files and records.
• Enter data for monitoring and reporting; assist with quarterly reports.
• Support stipend processing, reimbursements, and basic budgeting.
• Prepare audit and site visit documentation; support funder reviews.
• Assist with outreach, recruitment, and community engagement.
