Job summary

Career Team is seeking a dedicated Career Advisor (Case Manager) to support Adults and Dislocated Workers under WIOA Title I in Orange County. You will conduct intake, assess barriers, and create employment plans while coordinating with partners to deliver high-quality services.

The role emphasizes documentation accuracy, compliance, and participant-centered coaching to help individuals achieve sustainable employment outcomes, within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; post-secondary education preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in case management, workforce development, counseling, or related human services.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive case management services to participants in WIOA Title I Adult and Dislocated Worker programs.
• Conduct intake, eligibility determination, and enrollment.
• Develop and update Individual Employment Plans (IEPs) and summaries.
• Maintain case files and ensure compliance with policies and data privacy standards.
• Assist with job readiness activities, referrals, and supporting services.
• Ensure participants receive timely follow-up and retention support for 12 months.
