Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PCU Cardiovascular unit on days. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients, collaborate with the team, and document care in the electronic medical record.

Requires an Associate degree in nursing, Florida RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 1+ year of acute care experience preferred. Full-time with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Florida or eligible)
• BLS CPR certification required
• ACLS certification required
• 1+ year in acute care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care; regularly evaluate and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and care activities in the medical record.
