AdventHealth is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Cardiology unit in the Orlando area. The role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, creating individualized care plans, and administering medications in a day-shift setting.

Education includes Associate’s of Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred. Licensure as an RN in Florida and BLS certification are required, with experience in acute care highly valued.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
• Associate’s of Nursing is required.
• 1+ acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly evaluate them.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
