LCMC Health is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to lead cardiac rehabilitation programs, both inpatient and outpatient, adhering to AACVPR, ACSM, and AHA guidelines. You will plan, supervise, and deliver exercise therapy, education, and risk-factor modification for patients recovering from cardiac surgery.

You will assess activity, vital signs, psychosocial factors, and collaborate with the cardiac rehab team to ensure safe, effective care and program growth through referrals and outreach.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in kinesiology/exercise science/physiology is required.
• ACSM EP certification within one year of hire.
• ACLS/BLS certification per job requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, and conduct inpatient and outpatient cardiac rehabilitation exercise therapy and education.
• Lead group exercise classes and supervise exercise sessions.
• Assess activity level, vital signs, symptoms, and psychosocial concerns.
• Coordinate with rehab team and medical director; ensure safe environment.
• Develop admission criteria with medical director and schedule referrals.

Bachelor's Degree Kinesiology/Exercise Science/Exercise Physiology

ACSM Exercise Physiologist certification within one year of hire

American Heart Association BLS certification
