Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to develop and implement individualized cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs. You will monitor patients during workouts, interpret ECG data, and adjust plans to improve outcomes.

The role includes leading group sessions and educating patients on exercise safety and healthy living. The ideal candidate holds a BS in exercise science (MS preferred), with 1+ year rehab experience, CPR, and ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of cardiac and/or pulmonary rehabilitation experience preferred.
• ECG (EKG) interpretation skills.
• Exercise prescription and patient monitoring experience.
• Bachelor's degree in exercise science or related field; MS preferred.
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for cardiac and pulmonary rehab patients.
• Monitor patients during exercise sessions, including vital signs and ECG (EKG).
• Modify exercise plans based on patient response and progress.
• Lead group exercise sessions, including warm-up and cool-down.
• Provide patient education on exercise, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Support safe progression toward independent, home-based exercise routines.
