Job summary

The Threshold, Inc. seeks a Child Development Specialist in Wisconsin to support Birth to Three and Family Support services for children aged 0–3 and their families. You will help identify developmental needs, coordinate services, and connect families with community resources and providers.

You will lead IFSP meetings, ensure timely documentation, and collaborate with families, service providers, school districts, and community partners to promote child development and family well‑being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field as listed.
• Ability to work with children 0–3 and their families.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Birth to Three team and IFSP meetings.
• Assist families in identifying strengths, needs, goals, and services.
• Develop and coordinate IFSPs, including six-month and annual reviews.
• Coordinate evaluations, assessments, and medical services.
• Monitor progress and delivery of services.
• Connect families with providers, advocacy resources, and community programs.
• Maintain accurate case documentation.
• Assist with transition planning as children exit Birth to Three.
• Collaborate with families, providers, school districts, and partners.
• Maintain compliance with Birth to Three, Part C, HFS 90, and requirements.
• Participate in trainings and professional development.
