Job summary

The Family Support Division in Jefferson City, MO is seeking Benefit Program Technicians to determine initial and continuing eligibility for food, medical, financial and nutritional assistance. You will interview clients in person and by telephone and prepare summaries to support benefit decisions.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent with four years of customer service experience (or a Bachelor’s Degree).

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and at least four years of customer service experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Personable and compassionate with a non-judgmental attitude.
• Ability to interview clients in person and by telephone and determine eligibility.
