Job summary

The State of Missouri Family Support Division is hiring Benefit Program Technicians for the Cole County/Jefferson City area at the St. Mary’s Customer Service Center in Jefferson City, MO.

You will determine eligibility for food, medical, financial, and nutritional assistance and interview clients in person or by phone. You’ll prepare summaries and other related documentation to support program recipients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or a Bachelor's degree.
• At least four years of customer service experience.
• Must be personable, compassionate and non-judgmental.

Responsibilities

• Determine initial and continuing eligibility for services.
• Interview clients in person and by telephone.
• Prepare summaries and related documentation.
