Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods, while reducing interfering behaviors and supporting families.

We provide comprehensive training; no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support children and families.
• Provide compassionate, patient, and collaborative care in a team environment.
