Job summary

Nyman Associates, Inc. is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development in school settings. You will work directly with learners to promote growth and positive behaviors, using ABA, MTSS, and SEL strategies under supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs preferred.
• Familiarity with ABA, MTSS, social-emotional learning, or trauma-informed practices preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support students with behavioral and emotional needs, including those with autism or trauma histories.
• Implement ABA and MTSS strategies to address behaviors and promote learning.
• Provide social-emotional learning support, in small groups or one-on-one.
• Build rapport and trust with students even in challenging situations.
• Support academic and life skills instruction alongside behavioral interventions.
• Prepare and maintain behavioral data sheets to monitor progress.
• Assist with daily school routines and classroom transitions.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to provide consistent student support.
