Job summary

Nyman Associates is seeking compassionate, self-directed Behavior Specialist Consultants to support students in school settings. You will conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized behavior plans using ABA principles to promote positive behaviors and social skills.

The role involves collaboration with school staff, families, and professionals, data-driven progress monitoring, and potential supervision of RBTs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
• Minimum of two years in ABA services (FBAs, PBSPs, staff training).
• Experience with ASD and behavioral disorders.
• Strong knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) using standard tools.
• Analyze results to identify function of target behaviors and plan interventions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor PBSPs with measurable goals.
• Collect and graph data to monitor progress and evaluate effectiveness.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and professionals for consistent implementation.
• Provide consultation and training to school teams on interventions.
• Supervise and support Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) where applicable.
