Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in one-on-one sessions under BCBA guidance.

You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. Comprehensive training is provided; prior experience is not required, only patience and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow guidance from BCBA.
• Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB testing are required or obtainable.
• Must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism using individualized intervention plans.
• Teach and reinforce communication, social, and daily living skills, reducing interfering behaviors.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment and lifting up to 50 pounds when needed.
