Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians in our program dedicated to helping children with autism. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training, a supportive team environment, and opportunities to grow in a field that makes a real difference in children’s lives.

Qualifications

• Patience and empathy while working with children on the autism spectrum.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and a TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Contribute to reducing challenging behaviors and tracking progress.
• Make a meaningful impact on the child and family at the end of each day.
