Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a Behavior Support Specialist to partner with school staff and leaders to deliver customized behavior support for students with intensive needs.

You will design and monitor Positive Behavior Support Plans, collect progress data, and participate in IEPs while supervising behavior technicians within a multidisciplinary team across campuses.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field is required.
• Behavior Specialist License required.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs.
• CPI Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and leaders to support students with intensive behavioral needs.
• Provide consistent monitoring and support throughout the school site.
• Create and implement Positive Behavior Support Plans and Skill Acquisition Programs.
• Record, track, and document behavioral incidents and progress toward goals.
• Utilize PBIS strategies and school incentives.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management when necessary.
• Foster a positive environment and work with interdisciplinary teams.
