Job summary

Climate First Bank is seeking a Business Development Officer (BDO) for Factoring and Asset-Based Lending (ABL) to originate, structure, and close new business opportunities in the Structured Finance Division. This role emphasizes proactive client development, relationship management, and industry engagement.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Business/Finance, 5+ years in factoring/ABL, and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in factoring, ABL, or commercial finance.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with prospective clients.
• Develop and execute a strategy to meet or exceed annual funding targets.
• Leverage industry networks and marketing strategies to generate a pipeline of leads.
• Conduct needs assessments to understand client financial requirements and present tailored financing solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with referral partners and represent the division at industry events.
