Job summary

Climate First Bank is hiring a Business Development Officer (BDO) for Factoring and Asset-Based Lending (ABL) within the Structured Finance Division. You will originate, structure, and close new opportunities, managing relationships with brokers, CPAs, attorneys, and industry groups.

You will lead business development, client management, and deal structuring while aligning with credit policies and profitability goals. This remote US role offers growth in a mission-driven, values-based bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in factoring, ABL, or commercial finance.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with prospective clients.
• Develop and execute a strategy to meet or exceed annual new business funding targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with referral partners including brokers, CPAs, attorneys, and industry associations.
• Structure and close deals with underwriting, operations, and credit teams to ensure profitability.
• Stay informed on market trends and provide leadership feedback on product or service enhancements.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline with defined stages and next steps.
