Job summary

Baxter is seeking a production assembler to work on the Batesville facility's assembly line, building hospital beds and stretchers with a team. You will perform repetitive assembly, inspect quality, and move parts through the line using hand and power tools.

A strong emphasis is placed on safety, accuracy, and teamwork to deliver life-saving products. The role includes training others, troubleshooting issues, and documenting production data to improve processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and components in prescribed sequence and location.
• Visually inspect work to ensure quality.
• Perform adjustments, rework and repairs as needed.
• Test for quality as required.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations.
• Document production data to aid problem identification and scheduling.
• Assist team members to ensure quality product and smooth workflow.
