Job summary
Right At School is hiring a Program Manager for either Auburn or Maple Valley in the Tahoma School District. The role oversees after-school and morning programs, focusing on safety, engagement, and compliance with district requirements.
You will coach staff, coordinate with families, manage attendance and daily routines, and help deliver a high-quality program for children. Pay rate is $24-26/hr, depending on education and experience.
Qualifications
- Experience balancing priorities and delivering quality service to stakeholders.
- 12 credits minimum of 100+ level college courses completed.
- Experience working with children and knowledge of special needs.
- Coursework or training in child development or related field.
- Strong oral, written, and visual communication with adults and children.
- Ability to model professional standards with students, parents, staff, and community.
- Familiarity with Google tech or willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Drive the mission with safety and joy, coaching staff and maintaining team cohesion.
- Support safety protocols, identify risks, and ensure well-being of participants.
- Engage families, clients, peers, and children with clear communication.
- Maintain attendance records and daily routines per policy.
- Implement daily activities and curriculum in a safe, engaging environment.
