Job summary

United Activities Unlimited (UAU) seeks a Prevention Specialist for after-school programs on Staten Island. This part-time, in-person role supports at-risk youth with evidence-based curricula and counseling.

Travel across Staten Island is required; Spanish language skills are a plus. The position offers 2–3 days per week, afternoons, and a competitive hourly wage of $25–$30, depending on budget and contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services or related field.
• 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
• 2+ years working with youth (5–18) and transportation readiness.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual and group counseling.
• Implement and assist in the creation of evidence-based curriculum.
• Complete prevention counseling paperwork in a timely manner.
• Monitor data collection and attendance records; maintain records.
