9 to 18 hours/week) and reports to the Program Director and Director of School-Based Programs. You will train staff, align lessons with DYCD frameworks, and maintain records of student progress while ensuring safety and adherence to all policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children under 13 in a classroom setting.
• Experience teaching, training, coaching or facilitating instruction.
• Supervisory experience in childcare program.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement, design and evaluate curriculum enrichment lesson plans based on after school programmatic needs.
• Prepare lesson plans varying from remediation instruction to tutoring.
• Develop and train staff on DYCD frameworks and education principles, classroom management, differentiation of learning, etc.
• Maintain records of achievement and coordinate curriculum needs, lesson planning, identifying training needs.
