Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and financial tasks, and ensure compliance with safety and fair housing guidelines on-site.

Preferred candidates hold experience with affordable housing programs and possess strong leadership and budgeting skills to maximize NOI and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred or four years in housing industry, or an equivalent mix of education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Personnel Management: lead and develop on-site staff; screen, hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance required to supervise operations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines across property operations.
• Develop and monitor annual operating budgets and financial reports; oversee rent collection and vendor invoicing.
• Strategic leasing management: create marketing plans and leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Oversee administrative, leasing, and maintenance reporting; manage emergency responses with staff and residents.
