Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee a housing community onsite, supervising staff, leasing, maintenance, and financial operations. You will ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and fair housing guidelines while delivering outstanding resident services.

You will lead budgeting, marketing plans, and annual operating forecasts, while coordinating with regional leadership to optimize occupancy and revenue.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD etc.)
• Affordable Housing Accreditation (HCCP, HCP-E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO) preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in housing industry or related field preferred
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Personnel management and on-site staff supervision
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor expenditures
• Marketing plans and resident leasing strategies to ensure occupancy
• Manage resident relations and address complaints to improve satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies
• Coordinate maintenance and safety programs and emergency response planning
• Prepare financial reports and monitor rent collections and vendor invoices
• Head emergency team for the property and manage on-site risk
