Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our acute care team. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday with weekend rotations based on department staffing and patient needs.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s or Doctorate in speech-language pathology, be eligible for Minnesota licensure, and have CCC from ASHA. Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment, and education for communication and swallowing disorders across ages.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in speech-language pathology or communication disorders.
• ASHA CCC certification knowledge or eligibility encouraged.
• Minnesota licensure requirement and ongoing continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services evaluating and treating communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders across age groups.
• Use instrumentation when appropriate to observe and measure outcomes.
• Plan and administer speech-language and swallowing care plans; document progress.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Supervise students and fellows as assigned and participate in departmental activities.
